The SV-DOxS online application as you can see it today bases on a request from our members. We, the SV main office, submitted the conception of creating a data base to the Federal Board in May 2014 and the Federal Board gave us instruction to create this data base.

From the resolution until today the project was developed and supervised from the staff of our IT and registration department. Because the data is not only from the time when computer based applications were available in the HG much information had to be typed in later on. Also, we tried to incorporate as much images as possible in SV-DOxS. We also would like to thank REIVISION for providing us with a large number of videos. Also our SV breed warden, Lothar Quoll, placed many images from dogs from the olden days to our disposal, thanks a lot also for this.

We hope that we have been able to convice our members and friends of the German Shepherd Dog with this offer. Our concern is to provide you with an application which is suitable for you. Therefore, please inform us about your wishes what else we should include into the data base. Also, please do not hesitate to contact us in cases of inconsistence. When you click the button "contact" you will find a form to inform us about your questions and desires.

Should you find that the data of your own dog is not complete please submit a proof of the lacking data to our office.

You are always up-to-date with the latest information.
When a HD or ED processing is concluded the rating is at once shown in the data base. In future, results from conformation shows and cross-regional trials are shown directly when they have been processed.
Of course, we will keep you also up-to-date about the trial results from the local groups. Also, you don't have to wait until the end of the month any longer, you can see the breeding as soon as it is registered!
Breed surveys, litters and all items concerning the dog will be apparent in the data base as soon as the processing is concluded. No need to wait a long time, all data clearly, up-to-date and interactive.

In reference to the videos we would like to point out that we are not able to guarantee completeness of the videos of the presented dogs for all years.

Beause for reasons of data protection information about dogs owners is not allowed. Information about owners and handlers of dogs on events is visible up to one year.
