Why can't I open the PDF data?
You need a program on your computer, that display PDF data. You can find excellent free program on internet, such as Acrobat reader, Foxit reader and much more.
Why is the LÜW and OCD result not displayed for a dog?
The LÜW and OCD findings are only displayed in SV-DOxS if the owner has agreed to the publication.
The consent for publication is done in the section My DOxS - My dogs by checking the box for LÜW and OCD.
Why are the foreign trials or the VDH recognized trials in examination area not indicated?
In the event overview you find only SV events. Working titles which have been earned abroad or at another VDH recognized club are visible at the dog's basic data, "working titles". Normally, for those events individual proofs are submitted and therefore the results are shown only for the dog.
Conformation shows from abroad are not shown in the information about conformation shows. Why?
In the event overview you find only SV events. Conformation show ratings which have been earned abroad or at another VDH recognized club are visible at the dog's basic data, "Show ratings". Normally, for those events individual proofs are submitted and therefore the results are shown only for the dog.
Incorrect data is shown for my dog. What can I do to have them corrected?
Of course, we will double check the data immediately, please contact us directly. When you click Contact you will find a contact form.
Why are not all trials and conformation shows in which my dog took part shown?
In order to register working titles which have been earned at another VDH organized club or abroad we need a proof; this proof can be submitted by fax or e-mail. We accept a copy of the score book or, when the working title has been entered in the pedigree, a copy of the pedigree. Please be aware that working titles from abroad have to be confirmed from the organizing club and we are not able to register and display them before we received the confirmation of the club.
In order to register conformation shows from abroad please submit a copy of the show card or a copy of the score book.
Why is not the complete address of the breeder or any contact address shown?
Because of data protection particular personal data has to be treated confidentially and may not be given to third parties.
For former events dog handlers and owners no longer published. Why?
For conformation shows, the dogs owners are published for one year, also the handlers for conformation shows for youth dog handlers. For performance trials the handlers are published for one year. Within one year exists a current interest for the data of an event because many items are useful for the qualification for advanced events. Later on, this public interest is no longer justified and the data is deleted from the data base.
How to look for a dog?
You can search a dog by using the symbol * as wildcard, e.g. entry: Ballack Bruck* = You will receive a list of all dogs beginning with Ballack Bruck beginnen, e.g. Ballack Brucknerallee.
You can put the wildcard also in front, e.g. entry: *Brucknerallee = You will receive a list of all dogs with the kennel name Brucknerallee.
Of course, with this wildcard you can search also for SZ numbers or foreign registration numbers, e.g. entry 21457*= You will receive a list of all dogs with SZ or foreign registration numbers starting with 21457. Also, when you know only the last digits of the SZ or foreign registration numbers you can use the wild card also in front of the number.
How does the search for events work?
When you are looking only for one particular year of events it is sufficient to enter the year dates, automatically, the "from" date will be 01.01. and the "until" date" will be the 31.12. of the selected year.
You can search by using the name of the local group or the kind of the event by using the symbol * as wildcard, e.g.entry: Kemp* = all local groups starting with Kemp will be listed. You can use the wildcard also in front, e.g.entry: *burg = all local groups ending with burg will be listed.
